Yes, this is me getting all excited over laundry again.

Good grief, what has happened to me?

Seriously, when I was my hip, twenty-something little self, I never dreamed there would be a day when I would get genuinely excited over laundry detergent.  But you saw me go all goo-goo over Purex Crystals a while back (still loving them oh-so-much, BTW), and now I am gushing in awe of the stain removal powers of Purex with Zout.

And don’t think I can’t hear you saying “Yeah sure Maureen, you’re a Purex insider so of course you’re raving about a Purex product”.  Um, no.  This stuff seriously rocks and here’s why: LJ has a ton of shirts with white sleeves. You know the style, they look like a tee-shirt over a long-sleeved shirt?  But for some reason, I picked a bunch with white sleeves.

Duh!

Six year old boy + kindergarten art projects + any type of food does NOT equal white sleeves being any kind of a good idea.  He has come home with a combination of marker, paint, ketchup and chocolate milk ALL ON ONE SLEEVE.

So I had been getting pretty chummy with the pretreat bottle.  And you know me – the less steps involved in doing the laundry, the better!  Plus, half the time, the stains weren’t coming all of the way out.

Then my bottle of Purex with Zout arrived in my mailbox…and I discovered the trick to one step wash again.  Seriously – this stuff really works.  Not only has it gotten out all of LJ’s sleeve stains, it has gotten a few out that had been through a few wash/dry cycles.  The trick is the use of enzymes (Zout has ’em!).  I don’t pretend to understand the science behind it, I just know that it works!

But you don’t have to take my word for it!  Purex has arranged for one lucky Wisconsin Mommy reader to receive a free bottle.

Just leave a comment telling me the hardest thing to get out of your family’s laundry – easy peasy, right?
Please do make sure that I have a way of getting in touch with you should you be the lucky winner, ‘kay?

The giveaway will run until 11:59 pm Wisconsin time on April 29th.  A winner will be chosen using random.org and notified by email.

Too impatient to wait for the contest to end?  Get a free sample of Purex with Zout here!

Well that is kind of easy. It is ring around the collar. If you try scrubbing them out then you get the worn effect in the collar.Think I will pop over and get the free sample. Here’s hoping I win.LOL
