One of my favorite campfire treats is a good s’more. Even when it’s no longer campfire season (or it’s raining or snowing out) I love to find ways to enjoy s’mores in less traditional ways. I shared my recipe for oven-baked s’mores bars in the past and I’m excited to be partnering with one of my favorite brands, Torani, on this sponsored post sharing my s’mores martini shooters recipe. #AToraniHalloween
Halloween in our area is fun. Lots of parents drag their fire pit into the driveway and sit out there with a roaring fire, a bag of candy to give out and (sometimes) some adult beverages for the parents walking around as well. I recently grabbed a bunch of plastic disposable shot glasses and think these s’mores martini shooters might be fun treat to pass out to the parents this year.
I’ve been making s’mores themed drinks for years and always used marshmallow flavored vodka. Then that pretty much disappeared from the shelves. Not just one, but ALL the brands that used to make it seem to have stopped. While you absolutely can make s’mores drinks without the marshmallow, it tastes so much better with it.
That’s where Torani’s Toasted Marshmallow Syrup comes in!
A little background first. I’ve been using Torani Syrups for as long as I’ve been making my own lattes at home. I started with their vanilla syrup and then branched out to some of their fancier flavors. They have a TON to choose from! When I saw that they have toasted marshmallow, a light went off in my head and I realized I might just have the solution to the missing marshmallow vodka problem.
Are you wanting my recipe for s’mores martini shooters yet? Here you go!! (As you’re gathering your ingredients, you can find and/or purchase Torani Syrups at Torani.com..)
You’ll need: half and half/heavy cream/whole milk (use whatever you’ve got or what you like best), chocolate liquor, vodka, Torani Toasted Marshmallow Syrup, graham crackers, chocolate syrup and marshmallow fluff or actual marshmallows.
Pour 1/2 C of half and half into a cocktail shaker with ice. Add 2 oz of vodka, 2 oz of chocolate liquor, and 1 oz of Torani Toasted Marshmallow Syrup. Take your shot glasses and dip the rims into chocolate syrup then into crushed graham crackers. Add some chocolate syrup to the bottom of the shot glasses as well. Give the cocktail shaker a few shakes until all the liquids are well blended and then pour into the shot glasses. Top with marshmallow fluff (or mini marshmallows) and toast if desired.
