GoalForIt.com Chore Chart Helps Motivate

behavior chart positive reward goalforit
One of the things we have been struggling with a bit is getting LJ to do all of his chores before leaving for school.  Actually, habits might be a better description since brushing teeth isn’t really a chore, right?  It’s not that he is unwilling to do them, it’s more that we tend to forget in the morning rush.

behavior chart positive reward goalforitWe created a GoalForIt.com chore chart and it has worked wonders to help keep us organized and add a little motivation for LJ.  We created a personalized chart that includes all of the things that LJ needs to get done throughout the day: putting clothes away, making his bed, feeding his fish, etc.  At first, we printed out a copy of the chore chart and kept it on the fridge, but he decided that using it on the iPad was an added bonus.  It has virtual stickers he can apply when the task is done.

What sets GoalForIt apart from other reward-type charts is how easy it is to customize.  You can choose from a variety of styles and formats to work from everyone no matter what their age.    You can create charts that focus on responsibility, understanding right from wrong, healthy habits, and money matters. To sign up for your own free account, visit GoalForIt.com.
