The Chosen: Episodes 4 to 6 in Theaters

Fans of The Chosen flocked to theaters February 1st through the 14th to see the first three episodes of Season 4 on the big screen. The first three episodes did really well, coming in second for opening weekend earnings. Everyone I know was talking about the ending of episode 3 (and no, I’m not going to spoil it for you in case you haven’t seen it yet!) and the show’s creators even had a special Livestream on The Chosen app to talk about it.

Will the next three episodes have the same success? I’m going to predict that they will! I had a chance to preview episodes 4 through 6 a few weeks ago and I can share that they do not disappoint! Because I’m crazy impatient, I actually watched them BEFORE I had seen episodes 1 through 3 in the theater. One of the things I love about The Chosen is that each episode can really stand on its own as a stellar piece of work. And the energy that the first three episodes of season 4 brought? It keeps going in the next three episodes as well. And you will be left with another cliffhanger at the end of episode 6. And that’s as close to a spoiler as you are going to get from me!!

You can catch Episodes 4,5 and 6 of Season 4 of The Chosen in theaters starting TODAY and running for the next two weeks. Get tickets at a theater near you at thechosenriseup.com.

Jesus walk with a stick and his disciplesA little background for those of you not familiar with The Chosen:

The Chosen is a groundbreaking historical drama based on the life of Jesus (Jonathan Roumie), seen through the eyes of those who knew him. Set
against the backdrop of Roman oppression in first-century Israel, the seven-season show shares an authentic and intimate look at Jesus’ revolutionary life and teachings. Season four premiered in theaters February 1, 2024.

With over 200 million viewers, The Chosen is one of the most-watched shows in the world. The series is consistently a top performer across streaming platforms Amazon Prime, Peacock, and Netflix plus a top-rated broadcast weekly on The CW. What started as a crowd-funded project has now garnered over 770 million episode views and more than 12 million social media followers.

The Chosen is an independent production written, directed, and produced by Dallas Jenkins and distributed globally by Lionsgate.

Many thanks to Come and See Foundation, Inc. for providing an advanced peek at episodes 4 through 6 for this review. Opinions are 100% my own.
