Series about first responders have been popular for a while now. Shows like 911 and Station 19 have had multiple seasons and people really enjoy watching them. If you’re looking for a similar first responder-type series that you can watch with the whole family (without feeling like you need to cover the kids’ eyes when the romances heat up), Great American Pure Flix is launching their own series called County Rescue on February 23rd. (It will launch on Great American Family on February 26th.)
As a Great American Pure Flix VIP Ambassador, I had the chance to preview the first season of the series and really enjoyed it. I found that the series depends less on the over-the-top special effects and more on the interpersonal relationships that develop between the characters.
A quick synopsis of County Rescue: EMTs are courageous, everyday heroes, but it’s challenging to qualify for this critical job. This is the story of an EMT unit who saves lives while navigating their own life, love, and faith.
You can watch County Rescue on Great American Pure Flix (streaming) or Great American Family (cable) – use this channel finder to locate them or text “RESCUE” to 877-999-1225.
