This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Milo Wifi. All opinions are 100% mine. Oh, and my excitement over having a strong and reliable wifi signal is completely mine. Well, my family is pretty jazzed about it too.
I don’t know about you, but I have zero patience with spotty wifi coverage – especially in my own home! It’s bad enough when we go out to a store or venue and the coverage is slow and drops constantly, but to have it happen at home? Unacceptable! As a work from home business owner, reliable wifi is a must for me. While I do have a dedicated office, I also do a lot of my work at the kitchen table, on the couch, even in the backyard when the weather is nice. And slow internet makes my blood boil – ask anyone who has watched me growl at my laptop as my video takes forever to upload.
We recently changed our ISP and got a new router, so our wifi is humming along better than it was before, but we were still having issues. We’ve added a number of devices that run off our home wifi like our new garage door opener and our security cameras. Both of these items reside in the garage and had been acting up due to a weak wifi signal. Our router is located on the opposite side of the house and down a floor. (We have a ranch so it’s quite a distance.)
I had attempted to fix the situation by purchasing a cheap booster device at my local big box store and it did not help at all. It actually created a new network which didn’t work with our security system as all of the devices need to be on the same network. I was at a loss on how to handle it.
When Milo Wifi reached out with a system that promised to help our wifi signal reach every nook and corner of our home and – wait for it – even into the yard and driveway, I couldn’t put my order in fast enough! The Milo arrived and was pretty darn easy to set up, just as promised. Check it out!
Once we had the Milo up and running, not only did our outdoor devices work better, but we all noticed that our laptops, tablets and even phones were faster and had a better connection, especially in the living room which is at the opposite end of the house from the router. And we didn’t even realize we were having any issues with those!
