When I found out I was having a boy, I pretty much figured that playing dress up would not be in my future.
I was wrong.
What I should have known is that boys do indeed play dress up, it’s just not with dresses and tiaras. Instead, boys like to dress up as scary monsters, super heroes, and (in LJ’s case) characters from Star Wars. We now have quite a collection of Star Wars costumes….

So when I was contacted by someone from Costume Discounters asking if I would like to choose something for LJ from their HUGE collection of kids costumes, I had a pretty good idea what LJ was going to choose. (Can you guess where this is going?)
Yes, we are now the proud owners of a deluxe Darth Maul costume. The mask on this thing is so real looking, it may give me nightmares. Seriously, take a look:
We were impressed by the great service at Costume Discounters. The shipping was fast, the costumes are great and they included directions for easy exchange should you have purchased the wrong size. I will certainly be headed back there for next Halloween (or if we wind up with more snow days!).
