For those that want a little bit of busy with their outdoor adventure, the campground is within a short drive to Wisconsin Dells, shopping destinations and more.
Stoney Creek RV Resort & Campground (Osseo)
If your camping trip is geared toward the kids having fun, this is a great option for you! The family friendly amenities and activities are abundant at at Stoney Creek RV Resort & Campground. They have a kiddie pool as well as a larger pool (and lifeguards), playgrounds, mini golf, a skate park, basketball courts and more. The campsites are suitable for both RVs and tents making this a fun campground for all kinds of campers. Be forewarned though…this campground is very popular so definitely plan this trip in advance so you can get reservations.
Apple River Hideaway Campground (Somerset)
If you are a camper Apple River Hideaway is perfect for those that like to tube the river. The river tubing and various entertainment options make this campground very popular with young adults. If you don’t like large crowds, this is a campground that is better visited during the week when the crowds are thinned out.
Big Bay Town Park (La Pointe)
Big Bay Town Park campground is located on Madeline Island, which is one of the Apostle Islands. For those that are unfamiliar with them, the Apostle Islands are a great place to explore fishing, kayaking and other water activities on Lake Superior. With Museums, lighthouses, wildlife and so much more, you will be sure to find lots of activities to keep you busy. You will find sites for tents and RVs (as well as tent sites that are hike in only).
Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park (Warrens)
As you might have guessed from its name, Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park is another kid friendly campground that features lots of amenities that focus on family fun. The have everything from a fully stocked fishing pond, to a massive waterpark with slides, lazy rivers and multiple pools. They also have weekend entertainment such as plays and puppet shows. This campground has over 650 campsites available for RVs and tents. They also have cabins to rent.
Harbour Village Resort (Sturgeon Bay)
Harbour Village Resort includes 5 state parks, hundreds of miles of shoreline along the peninsula to Wisconsin and more. Amenities at this campground range from the typical (fire pits, laundry and wifi) to more tourist-y (water park, jacuzzi and more). RV and tent campers are welcome.
Hi-Pines Campground (Eagle River)
The Hi-Pines Campground is more than your typical campground. With amenities such as a beautiful swimming pond with beaches and miles of hiking trails that double as cross country skiing trails in the winter, there is no shortage of adventure here! There are also tourist attractions nearby such as a children’s museum and much more. The campground features tent sites as well as pull through RV sites.

Pine Grove Campground (Shawano)
