I was over the moon excited yesterday when I learned that I had been included in the #MaytagMoms campaign with Mom Central! Honestly, this could not have come at a better time.
Over the last year, we have been aware of our washer getting louder and louder with each cycle. Luckily, we are past the stage of worrying about sleeping babies, so at least THAT wasn’t an issue. And it did make it easy to tell when the load was done washing. (I really tried to look on the positive side of things.) But we knew it was a sign that our washer and dryer were probably not long for this world. They are over 10 years old, so that shouldn’t be a surprise.
What WAS a surprise was when our washer began strolling around the laundry room during each spin cycle. It literally would walk from one side of the laundry room to the other, which was a bit unnerving. I did have it serviced, which helped a bit, but as time went by, it began getting worse. We basically accepted the fact that we were going to need to buy new ones pretty soon.
We had even gone as far as researching what type to get. Maytag was at the top of the list, which made opening that email announcing that we would be getting a pair of Maytag Bravos XL appliances even sweeter.
What part of this am I most excited about? I can’t even pick one thing! The fact that I will be able to fit more into each load means less time actually DOING laundry makes me pretty happy. The fact that the pair are super energy and water efficient means saving money which always makes me happy. The fact that the washer will no longer head for the door every time the spin cycle starts? Priceless!
So be sure to stay tuned over the next four months as I explore all that the Maytag Bravos XL can do and share my laundry journey with you!

I am participating in this campaign thanks to Maytag and Mom Central Consulting and will be receiving the products discussed above in order to facilitate my review. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.
