Smart Phone Apps Feature Kid-Friendly Fun in Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin

Whether you’re new to Wisconsin or just here for a vacation, the Madison Loves Kids and Milwaukee Loves Kids smart phone applications help you find the nearest kid friendly venues no matter the season. Now available on the iTunes and Google Play, each app is available for $1.99.

Each entry includes suggestions and helpful hints along with one-click links to venue websites, phone numbers, and an interactive Google map. Developed by Wisconsin mom of three, Julie Henning contributes regularly to Madison Mamasand is an editor with the family travel website Road Trips for Families.

Organized alphabetically by name, distance, cost, or neighborhood, entries can also be sorted in categories such as: classes and events, farms and orchards, museums, parks and playgrounds, rainy days and tours, restaurants, sports and sports teams, stores, teens and tweens, and tots.

“Wisconsin is a fantastic place to raise children. Our family has had a ton of fun exploring the venues included in both the Madison and Milwaukee apps. Because we live in a four-season state, I’ve made sure to include both indoor and outdoor suggestions for families of all ages and interests.  Look for an update with new entries about every three months.”
