Breakfast has gotten to be a bit of a challenge around here. LJ has suddenly started sleeping in (cue angels singing) which is great, but leaves us less time to get ready in the morning. Factor in a really picky eater who has some digestive issues and you’ve got yourself a challenge.
Now, I’m not going to go into all kinds of details about LJ’s digestive issues (since someday he will actually read this blog and I’d like him to still be speaking to me then), but let’s just say it’s a regularity issue – know what I mean? He’s had it since he was an infant and as soon as he started eating “big people” foods, his pediatrician began handing me Activia coupons as I walked out the door. Now, if that’s not a ringing endorsement, I don’t know what is. (He was careful to add that you need to eat it daily for at least two weeks as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle to see the benefits.)
Truthfully, we all eat yogurt around here – not just because it’s nutritious, but because we like it. Now, Activia has taken yummy to a new level with the introduction of Activia Selects. It’s the same nutritious yogurt with live cultures, but in several new styles so you can mix it up a bit. It comes in Greek style, French style, and French with Fruit on the bottom. We were excited to give it a try and picked out the French style to bring home.
It made breakfast much easier – it was fast, convenient and tasty! (Not to mention good for us – but don’t tell LJ!)
