Easy Potato Corn Chowder

easy potato corn chowder

This easy potato corn chowder makes a great dinner!

We have been trying really hard to eat at home more. With all of us having busy schedules and needing to be in three different places at any given time, that can be a challenge. One of the things we have found is that having easy recipes that can either be prepared ahead or slow cook all day make it much more likely that we will actually follow through with this resolution. Part of winning this battle is having the right tools, and we’ve found that the Ninja® Cooking System with Auto-iQ™ technology is a huge help.

One of our favorite things to cook in the Ninja Cooking System with Auto-iQ is an easy potato corn chowder recipe.

We love that we can saute AND slow cook in just one pot! Not only does it save time both during prep and clean-up, it helps add extra flavor because not a single drop of liquid or morsel of goodness is left behind by transferring food from one pan to another. The Ninja® Cooking System with Auto-iQ™ is actually like having four appliances in one. (Which is really nice when you are trying to preserve countertop space.) The Ninja Cooking System with Auto-iQ can act as your slow cooker, your stove top, your steamer, and your portable oven.

Grab your own Ninja® Cooking System with Auto-iQ™ and save 15% by clicking here and using the code MAUREEN15. (Good until 12/31/17.)

The slow cook option allows you to cook at low, high and also to just keep warm. The worry-free ACCUTEMP temperature control ensures your meals don’t boil over and are cooked evenly, just the way you like them. The baking option can bake anything between 250°–425°F which gives you a lot of options. Use the steam option to prepare vegetables without overcooking them. The stove top option (one of my favorites) allows you to sear or saute ingredients before slow cooking them without having to use a separate pan. There are also separate preprogrammed settings including poaching, grain, layered bowls and even quick meals where you just throw in the ingredients, push the button and walk away! It truly is a multicooker!

Worried you won’t know how to use the settings to make quick and easy meals? The Ninja Cooking System with Auto-iQ comes with the Ninja Delicious Done Easy cookbook with tons of easy recipes to help you make the most of your new appliance.

Want to start off with an easy and hearty soup? Here’s how I make my easy potato and corn chowder!

We’ve had corn chowder before, but I cannot recall if we’ve had it with potatoes. We’ll have to make this!

I love a bunch of different chowders, but, oddly enough, I haven’t tried a corn chowder before. I’d make this as my first ever!
