I’m really trying to get those 8 glasses of water down each day. I’m finding that flavoring my water helps a lot. I’ve found a few different “recipes” that I’ll be sharing in the next week or so.
This one is citrus and mint. I cut up a half of a lemon and half of an orange. I added a sprig of chocolate mint and let it sit for about an hour. (The longer it sits, the stronger the flavor. I don’t like it too strong.)

Let me know how this goes. I am not a fan of water at all so some ideas would be helpful!

i never thought of this way to get my 8 glasses of water a day.. and with this heat i should be drinking more than that. Im going to have to try this out, but i think ill skip the mint. Im not to fond of the mint taste.

It was really good! I only put one small sprig of mint – more would have been too much for me.
Coming next – Watermelon and Cucumber with Basil…

Citrus and chocolate mint… that sounds awesome! I’m totally trying that.

That’s a really good idea. I don’t drink soda so this is a good alternative to me that doesn’t make me feel so deprived. And I am also big on those Crystal Light single sticks, Brisk No Cal Iced Tea, and Light Hawaiian Punch. Good taste without all the calorie sacrifice!

Chocolate mint sounds wonderful.

This sounds interesting! I drink tons of water daily (trying to be good) but I’m not a fan of flavored water. Your idea sounds tasty because I love mint. In fact I’m drinking some peppermint tea right now. I may give this a try. Thanks for sharing!
