Having done quite a bit of traveling that included hotel stays over the years, I’ve developed some pretty strong opinions on what I look for when selecting a hotel. (My first job out of college was recruiting for a school in New England and I spent an average of 4 nights a week in hotels!) AmericInn invited me to check out one of their locations and then participate in this sponsored partnership to share my observations with all of you!
Five Reasons You Should Stay at an AmericInn Hotel on Your Next Trip
The breakfast.
Okay, that may seem like an odd choice to list first, but hear me out. I’m a huge fan of hotels that include a breakfast with your stay, especially when I’m traveling with my family. Yes, we are only a family of three, but eating out gets expensive quickly and I hate starting my day by dropping a chunk of change before I’ve even done anything!
You won’t be getting a cold cereal bar or stale muffins at the AmericInn breakfast either. I was incredibly impressed with the variety of foods offered when my family headed down to the dining area. We could choose from a variety of cereals (if that is your jam), hot foods like scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, potato wedges, several types of sausages, fresh fruit, yogurt, and more. Pretty much anything you might want to eat for breakfast was there.
But the crown jewel was definitely the waffles! They have several DIY waffle makers (that are idiot proof – even I can make the perfect waffle on them!) and the best part is that each waffle has the AmericInn logo baked right in. How cool is that?
The pool.
Again, if you are traveling with your family you are going to LOVE the pool area. There is a gorgeous pool for the kids to splash around in as well as a hot tub and a sauna for the grown ups to enjoy. There is lots of seating around the pool and even some lounge chairs to relax in.
You can bring Fido.
More and more families are traveling with their pets and AmericInn recognizes that. They have a very affordable pet option at some of their hotels (please check before packing up Fluffy or Spot as not all AmericInns accommodate pets.) The hotel we stayed at allows pets with just a $30 fee – considerable less than a lot of other hotels.
The Manager’s Reception
In case the included breakfast wasn’t enough, AmericInn also includes a manager’s reception from 5-7 pm. It is held in the small event room just off of the main hallway and includes free wine. beer, and appetizers. Because the alcohol is self serve, kids are not allowed but the staff encouraged us to grab a few snacks for Josh and bring them out to him.
The rewards.
AmericInn’s Easy Rewards Program sets itself apart for the rest by being the only rewards program that actually pays cash for your stays. Each stay equals one point. Once you’ve earned ten points, you can redeem them for $40 cash OR a $75 room voucher. How cool is that?
This list is far from the only amenities offered at the AmericInn we stayed at. Our location also boasted the following amenities:
- AAA Approved
- Business Center
- Dry Cleaning Service
- Elevator
- FEMA Approved
- Fitness Center On-Site
- Free, Hotel-Wide, High-Speed Internet
- Guest Laundry Facilities
- Kids Stay Free (17 and under)
- Motorcoach Parking
- Outdoor Patio
- Smoke-Free Hotel

I will NOT stay at a hotel that doesn’t offer a hot breakfast. I’m putting out good money to stay there. I want a hot breakfast. I can get cereal or a bagel ANYWHERE.
