BISSELL CleanView Vacuum Review

bissell cleanview vacuum reviewI don’t think I ever gave vacuum cleaners a second thought before I was a parent – and got a dog.  As long as it did the basics, I was happy. Then I gained two dirt trackers more members of the family, and suddenly buying a new vacuum became an activity that required as much research and consideration as buying a new car. Well, almost.  But I think my search for the perfect vacuum may have ended with the BISSELL CleanView Vacuum Cleaner.

First off, the vacuum was super easy to assemble. Actually, it didn’t require much assembly at all – but the few parts that needed to be clipped on were very easy and straight forward. (This is important as I tend not to read directions very often. Don’t tell my former students!)

Once the BISSELL CleanView Vacuum was put together, I was thrilled to realize how lightweight it is.  This is great for anyone who might need to haul it up and down stairs to clean different levels of a house. Since we have carpeting on both the upper and lower levels, I appreciate not busting a hernia trying to haul it around.  The turbo brush attachment tool makes cleaning the stairs super easy!

I was a little suspicious of the advertised OnePass™ Technology – I have yet to find a vacuum that didn’t miss at least a few bits and pieces here or there. The BISSELL lived up to its hype by cleaning my living room carpet  literally in one pass.  It picked up everything from crumbs to lint to random Cheerios under my couch.  Well done, BISSELL!

Another feature I really like is the Bottom Easy Empty™ Dirt Cup. One of the things that turned me off of bagless vacuums for a long time was the way the dirt would go everywhere when I tried to empty them which kind of defeats the purpose of vacuuming, right?  By emptying from the bottom, this mess is eliminated and all the junk goes right into the garbage.

The BISSELL CleanView vacuum with OnePass Technology will be available at major retailers in February with an MSRP of $79.99. The CleanView Plus, which features a longer cord and warranty, will also be available at major retailers in February with an MSRP of $89.99.

Win one for yourself – but you have to act quickly!Bissell CleanView Vacuum

BISSELL Facebook Contest:

BISSELL is giving away a CleanView vacuum to one lucky winner who enters their Facebook contest and tells them what they would do with extra time in their day. Contest ends on March 9th!!

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for BISSELL. I received a product sample to help facilitate my review.
