Remember back when we were kids and the biggest downer on Christmas morning was realizing that there weren’t enough batteries to get everyone’s new toys up and running? These days, people are more likely to get electronic devices that already have their own rechargeable batteries, so what could go wrong?
What if the internet connection was acting up on Christmas morning and no one could connect their new devices?
Agggghhhh! That would be today’s equivalent of having no AA batteries in the house! Seriously, I’m willing to bet it would be a really big deal at your house. (I know it would at mine!)
If you have Verizon FiOS, then you don’t have to worry about any sad, disappointed faces on Christmas morning. But what would you feel like if you didn’t?
A new (humorous) holiday video called The Night Before Stanley deals with this very issue.
Stanley is a thoughtful head of his gingerbread family household. He’s braved the stores and bought all the latest electronic gadgets for his family and is looking forward to enjoying using them the next day when the unthinkable happens – the internet goes down as he is testing out all the devices.
Is Christmas ruined????
I don’t want to spoil the ending for you! This is such a charming (and quick) video, so be sure to take a minute to watch it. I’d love if you would join in the conversation below as well!
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Verizon. The opinions and text are all mine.
