Sometimes moms need to cut themselves a break and stop expecting perfection from themselves. I’m all about working smarter and not harder while still doing what works best for my family. Frankly, anything that helps me keep my sanity is best for my family!
This is a sponsored blog post; while the views expressed here were genuinely mine, consideration was paid to me by Tai Pei Food to review this product.
I remember the toddler years and feeling like life was hectic and busy. Now I look back and chuckle as life feels like it has accelerated to warp speed. Part of is that I am now putting full-time hours into my business and part is that Josh is in a number of activities and I do like to try and attend his sporting events. Plus, even on his off days, he still needs to be picked up – right at dinner time no less.
It’s really tempting to eat out on those nights (okay – on MOST nights!) which can get expensive pretty quickly. Since Chinese takeout is one of our favorites, I turn to the frozen food aisle and grab some to satisfy our cravings, simplify our evenings and save us some money! (And the fact that I can heat them up and have them ready to serve in just 10 minutes is a great plus! We can spend a long time waiting for food delivery where we live.)
I love that Tai Pei Foods are a shortcut that I can feel good about. All of their products have clean ingredients with no additives, preservatives, artificial flavors or colors. They come in a variety of flavors – ten in fact – so there is something for every member of the family. And somehow, they manage to infuse that flavor into every grain of rice! There are never any leftovers when we serve Tai Pei! (And if you really want to create the full experience, you can check out their appetizers and snacks in addition to their entrees. .)

Something quick on a busy night is always a treat. I tend to go for quesadillas or veggie burgers in my home.

We are a big fan of Chinese takeaways. And if they are inexpensive like Tai Pei then it’s even better. I am definitely going to try with Shrimps!
