Disney Movies: The Call of the Wild Activity Pages

If your family is anything like mine, we have been watching a LOT of movies lately. Honestly, this was about the perfect time for Disney to launch their streaming channel, Disney+. We’ve been spending time getting reacquainted with many of our favorites from years past and exploring some of their newer offerings and series.

There are a number of great movies to stream that also have some fabulous activity pages that go along with them! I’m so thankful that the folks at Disney are allowing me to share these with you as I know everyone is going a little stir-crazy while we all stay safe at home right now.

The Call of the Wild

the call of the wild

This is one of those books that is just absolutely timeless. Even though it was written in 1903, It was relevant when I read it in the 80’s and it’s still relevant now. Disney has brought the book to life with a new movie version starring one of my absolute favorites, Harrison Ford. CGI technology allows this movie to go places that no other version has been able to do. THE CALL OF THE WILD is now available to buy digitally and on Movies Anywhere in the U.S. for $14.99.

Plot Summary:

THE CALL OF THE WILD delighted audiences upon opening February 21, earning an 89% Verified Audience Score on RottenTomatoes®. Adapted from the novel by Jack London, it vividly brings to the screen the story of Buck, a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life is turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Canadian Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail delivery dog sled team–and later its leader–Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime, ultimately finding his true place in the world and becoming his own master. As a live-action/animation hybrid, THE CALL OF THE WILD visual effects and animation technology in order to bring the animals in the film to life. THE CALL OF THE WILD is directed by Chris Sanders and stars Harrison Ford, Omar Sy, Dan Stevens, Karen Gillan, Bradley Whitford, Cara Gee, Michael Horse, Jean Louisa Kelly, Colin Woodell, Adam Fergus and Abraham Benrubi. Erwin Stoff, p.g.a. and James Mangold, p.g.a. are producing with Diana Pokorny, Ryan Stafford and screenwriter Michael Green serving as executive producers.
