What Restaurants are Open on Thanksgiving? #TDChamp

I love Thanksgiving – it really is one of my favorite holidays!  I’m sure part of that comes from the fact that my mom does most of the cooking. I am responsible for my famous apple pie, but mom takes care of all the hard parts of the feast.

Perhaps you don’t feel like cooking this year. Maybe you just want to take the day off and let someone else do all the cooking (and clean up).  There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that!! But that brings up the question of where to go to get your Thanksgiving feast, right?

My new secret time saving weapon, Time Dog (learn more about what Time Dog is here) nicely compiled a list of restaurants that would be happy to serve you your Turkey-Day dinner and clean up after you are done!

Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving Day

TGI Friday’s – has football watching parties. Call your local restaurant for times and details.

Waffle House – always open.

Denny’s – always open.

Ruby Tuesday – many are open on Thanksgiving. Click the link to check ones near you.

Cracker Barrel – opening at 11am.

Shoney’s – buffet after 11am.

Luby’s  – open 10 am to 8 pm.

IHOP (may have reduced hours)

Golden Corral (may have reduced hours)

Boston Market – will cater if you order by 5 pm tonight.

This information was compiled by my Personal Assistant Service, TimeDog.

What should I ask them?
Looking for a specific gift for someone?  They can find you the best price in your area.
Want to go see a movie? They can text you the theaters and times.
What to do with all of those leftovers?  They can email you recipes!
Think outside the box!!

We decided to eat out a couple years ago, but didn’t do our research in advance. We just assumed that the small, coastal town we went to would have a couple restaurants open. WRONG! We took the kids to the Aquarium then though we’d go to MO’s, a local seafood restaurant. Well, all were closed so we ended up at a Casino! It was hysterical! This was back when you could smoke in buildings here (Oregon) and my oldest child went out of her way to cough as dramatically as possible!
