Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff (Lightened Up)

  • 1 lb of beef stew meat cut into cubes
  • 1 16 oz package of sliced white mushrooms
  • 1 8 oz package of baby portobello mushrooms sliced
  • 1 C low sodium beef broth
  • 1 1/2 C onion chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 C fat free sour cream
  • 3 tbsp fat free cream cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley
  • bag of No Yolks Noodles


  1. Saute garlic and onion in vegetable oil until translucent.
  2. Remove from pan and brown meat.
  3. Pour meat, onions, garlic, broth, and Worcestershire sauce into slow cooker and set on low for 6+ hours.
  4. Just before meat is done, cook No Yoke noodles to desired doneness.
  5. Add sour cream and cream cheese to slow cooker and stir until blended.
  6. Serve meat over noodles, add some sauce, salt and pepper to taste and garnish with fresh parsley.
