Hi, I’m Maureen and I’m a podcast addict. (All together now – “Hi Maureen!”) Wow, it feels good to come clean and I want to thank Skullcandy and Best Buy for sponsoring this soul-baring post!
In all seriousness, I really do listen to a LOT of podcasts. It started about two years ago and I was mostly listening to podcasts for entertainment while I was walking the dog or driving around in my car. Then I discovered the absolute wealth of business information that is available on podcasts and started really listening to them ALL THE TIME. In addition to Roofus’ walks and car rides, I now listen when I’m doing housework, folding laundry and even when I’m grocery shopping.
Because I’m listening while I’m doing other things, having my corded earbuds in was starting to be a real inconvenience. I was constantly hooking things onto the cords and yanking them out of my ears (ouch!!). When Skullcandy sent me their wireless Push Ear Buds to try, I fell in love with wireless ear buds. I immediately loved that they freed me up from having to deal with wires and even from having to carry my phone around as I moved through the house.
Since all work and no play makes for a really LOOOOONG day, I am also loving them for listening to music when I need to take a break. I love turning up my speakers so that I can feel the beat and I’m able to do that with the Skullcandy Push Ear Buds as well. (Being careful not to turn them up so loud that they would damage my hearing of course. Got to set a good example for the teen!)
But I am loving the sound quality with these ear buds. Plus the cool colors look really cool as well. They last 12 hours on a single charge – 6 on their own and 6 from the case’s charge. They are IPX4 Water Resistant, so if I decide to jump in a pool or get really hot and sweaty, I don’t need to worry about them. Plus the unique FitFin™ Gels keep them securely in my ears so I don’t get paranoid about them falling out. And I can answer calls, advance tracks, and control the volume right from the buds. They even have a built-in assistant to help with sending messages and setting reminders without having to take them out.
You can learn more and grab a pair of your own at Best Buy! And be sure to listen to my new podcast, Small Business Savvy when you get them!!
