Anyone who knows me at all knows I LOVE essential oils. Right around the time I got pregnant with Josh, I developed an intolerance to most synthetic smells. Suddenly, my beloved candle collection was making me nauseous. I also couldn’t handle the smell of a lot of the cleaners I had been using. (And the stuff they were using at the school I was teaching at? Gag!!) Hence my love of natural products was born – and my interest in making my own whenever possible.
Fast forward a few years, and I discovered Simply Earth when one of their employees reached out to me about reviewing a few of their oils. I was a bit skeptical and replied that I would try them but would not be partnering with them if they weren’t good quality oils. They sent along a few to try including Frankenscence and I was really impressed with the quality. If a company is going to skimp, it’s usually on an expensive oil like Frankenscence so I felt that was a good representation of the quality of their oils. I also loved the fact that 13% of their profits go to organizations that help fight human trafficking. (13 being a nod to the fact that the average age of trafficked individuals is 13. Think about that for a second – the average age – that means many are much younger.)
Subscription Recipe Box
Simply Earth is on a mission to help as many people as possible to make their homes natural and chemical-free. In addition to their online store, they also offer a really cool subscription recipe box. Each month, subscribers receive a box including four full sized oils, accessories to make cool DIY projects like bath balms, candles or bath salts. Subscribers also receive a separate box with staples like containers, carrier oils and other items needed to make the DIY projects. Boxes also include six recipes for amazing blends. No more having a collection of oils and not knowing what the heck to do with them!!
Now their newest venture is an actual physical retail store!
The Simply Earth store opens today at Bayshore Town Center. (It’s located at 5710 N. Centerpark Way – across from Loft and the Apple Store.) The store offers all of the great oils and blends that you can find on SimplyEarth.com PLUS some really cool new offerings like premade handsoap, beauty products, and so much more. Many of these items are only available at the store. You can see them being made while you shop and any of the Simply Earth Home Ambassadors can answer your questions or help you find just the right product for your needs.
Simply Earth’s retail store is holding a grand opening celebration on October 19th.
The first 25 customers through the door will receive an awesome gift bag full of goodies. I also happen to have some inside information that there will be some really cool social media giveaway opportunities going on that day as well, so be sure to stop in even if you can’t be among the first 25. And since I had the chance to tour the store before it opened and chat with the owner, we have some cool giveaway opportunities here as well.
