Anyone who knows me at all knows that I am a huge seafood fan. And those that know me well know that I love my seafood from the sea – no lakefish for this New England girl!! But when you move a New England girl to the Midwest, finding good seafood becomes a little more challenging. (Luckily, I also love beef which is very easy to find in the Midwest!) One of my favorite places to go when I am craving really good seafood is to Bonefish Grill.
I’m a huge fan of the Bonefish Grill staples, like their Bang Bang Shrimp and fish tacos. (My non-seafood loving husband raves about their Kobe burger.) But I was super excited when Bonefish Grill reached out and invited my family and I to try their seasonal Winter menu. They provided us with a few gift cards to try out some of their new dishes including Lobster Stuffed Shrimp, Lobster Bisque, Oscar Mahi- Mahi, and Filet + Colossal Shrimp Scampi.
They even have some special cocktails on the winter menu – a Grapefruit Martini and a Winter White Cosmo (I was kind of bummed I couldn’t try them both but I still had work to be done after dinner.) A new dessert being offered is the Chocolate Crème Brûlée. We planned poorly and probably should have skipped the Bang Bang Shrimp and bread with pesto oil (but they were sooooo good!) so we would have had room for dessert. Oh well, just an excuse to go back really soon, right?
Every time we visit Bonefish Grill, I’m always thrilled with the service and attention the servers give each and every one of their guests. People ask me what is good on the menu and my honest answer is always “I’ve never had anything there I didn’t love”, so I never hesitate to try something new when they offer it. The Winter Menu is no exception and I kind of hope that a few of these offerings will make it onto the regular menu as they were really good.
The Winter Menu is only for a limited time, so don’t wait to go try out some of these new dishes and drinks. Despite how it feels in Wisconsin right now, Winter is not actually going to last forever and soon this menu will be disappearing. In the mean time, connect with Bonefish Grill at their website or on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or YouTube. Thanks again to Bonefish Grill for providing us with such a great meal. (As always, our opinions and enthusiasm are our own!!)
