Summer has finally hit here full force. After a pretty cool start with June, today we actually hit 90 degrees and the humidity is really making it feel like summer! When the hot and sticky weather hits, one of my favorite treats is a nice, frosty, frozen coffee treat. In an effort to save a few dollars and calories, I have attempted to make them at home, but have never been able to replicate the yummy deliciousness of a real coffee shop treat.
When I attended the Blissdom blogging conference a few months ago, I met up with some of the folks from Seattle’s Best. (Remember how much fun I had with them at the Wisconsin State Fair last year??) Once I got home, they let me know that they had come out with a way to recreate their frozen coffee treats easily at home.
These delicious at-home coffee drinks are offered in Coffee Chiller, Creamy Caramel, Very Vanilla, and Mega Mocha. They take only a few easy steps to prepare:
1) Empty the contents of the pouch into the blender.
2) Add milk (and/or other ingredients)
4) Enjoy the yummy, cool goodness!!
While the Seattle’s Best frozen coffee drinks are delicious without any additions, I have to share one slight alteration that has quickly become my favorite. I took the Mega Mocha (which has a delicious chocolatey flavor) and added two tablespoons of peanut butter. So good!!
The nice Seattle’s Best folks are allowing me to share the joy! They are going to send out 50 coupons for Wisconsin Mommy readers to try their Frozen Coffee Blends for free. Just fill out the form below and if you are one of the first 50 you are all set!
