I love a good animated movie! It doesn’t matter that my “baby” is now a teen – I’ll go by myself to see new animated releases if he is feeling “too cool” to see it with me. That’s why I’m so excited to be hosting an advanced screening of DreamWorks Animation’s ABOMINABLE here in Milwaukee on September 21st!
Abominable will be in theaters September 27th, but a select few Wisconsin Mommy followers can join me at the Mayfair AMC on September 21st for a 10 am advanced screening and see it before everyone else on me!
What is it about? In case you haven’t seen the trailer, here are the details:
SYNOPSIS
DreamWorks Animation and Pearl Studio’s co-production Abominable takes audiences on an epic 2,000-mile adventure from the streets of a modern Chinese city to the breathtaking Himalayan snowscapes.
When teenage Yi (Chloe Bennet, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) encounters a young Yeti on the roof of her apartment building in a modern Chinese city, she and her mischievous friends, Jin (Tenzing Norgay Trainor) and Peng (Albert Tsai), name him “Everest” and embark on an epic quest to reunite the magical creature with his family at the highest point on Earth.
But the trio of friends will have to stay one-step ahead of Burnish (Eddie Izzard), a wealthy man intent on capturing a Yeti, and zoologist Dr. Zara (Sarah Paulson) to help Everest get home.
