I love listening to music while I work out. Since my favorite workout at the moment is walking, I rely on music or audiobooks to keep me entertained while I am strolling around the neighborhood. I have noticed that most of the ear pieces out there feel great when you first put them in, but then get increasingly uncomfortable as time goes on. I hate being halfway through my walk and having to take out my earbuds because I just can’t stand them anymore. Know what I mean?
When the folks at Koss contacted me to invite me to the product launch for their new FitSeries made just for women, I had to say yes. (You are probably already familiar with Koss, a local family-owned Milwaukee company, as they have been known for inventing the first stereophones and have been creating fabulous products since 1953.) Dara Torres, 12 time Olympic medalist, mom, and music enthusiast, was instrumental in creating a design that is comfortable for women to wear but does not skimp on sound.
The FitSeries products include FitBuds and FitClips. FitBuds are similar to traditional earbuds, but 33%smaller. I received a pair to try and quickly fell in love with them. They came with three different size “cushions” so I was able to get a perfect fit. I’ve worn them on several of my longer walks and would have forgotten I had them in except for the great sound they produced! FitClips are perfect for more active athletes who need a little more stability while they are bouncing around. Both FitBuds and FitClips come in a variety of fun colors and are sweat proof.
The launch event included a 45 minute spin class led by Dara Torres (which I unfortunately could not stay for since I had to go back to work) where the participants got a chance to try out the FitClips. I snapped a few pics as I was leaving and even got to say hi to my favorite Real Milwaukee hosts, Katrina Cravy and Nicole Koglin!
One lucky Wisconsin Mommy reader will receive a set of Koss FitBuds so that they can also listen to music in comfort!
This post was brought to you in partnership with Koss. I was provided a pair of FitBuds to facilitate my review.Powered by Sidelines
