This past weekend, my family had the good fortune to check out LEGOLAND Discovery Center’s newest ride, Kingdom Quest before it opened to the public. As someone who grew up playing with LEGOs, I was thrilled when LJ inherited my colorful brick obsession. He’s collected quite a few LEGO kits and amazes me with his ability to sit and complete a LEGO project without even taking a break.
With his love of all things LEGO, a trip to LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Schaumburg (just outside of Chicago) is always a favorite weekend event. I mean, what’s not to love?
There are giant LEGO statues of LJ’s favorite characters like Indiana Jones, Darth Vader, and Harry Potter…
There are fun rides…

This would be the GREATEST Birthday gift for me because I would be able to spend it watching my 2 SONS enjoy & learn in amazement all of the amazing things that can be built with lego’s, use of imagination & patience.
