Costco 4X Pro-B Probiotics Follow Up #DigestiveHeath #CBias

You probably recall that last month, I started taking a probiotic supplement that I purchased from Costco.com.  (Curious? Here’s a link to my trip through their website.)  So, I’ll bet you’re wondering if I’ve seen any differences since I started taking it?

To be honest, I’m really not sure.  I made a few other changes around the same time that I started taking this probiotic, so I’m not sure if any one thing is responsible for my feeling better or if it is a combination of everything I’ve been doing.

What have I been doing?

1. I’ve been juicing.

I realize that this probably does not look very appetizing to most people, but it is actually quite delicious.  While I love fruit and could eat it by the bushel, I struggle to get as many veggies into my diet as I should.  Juicing makes it quick and easy and I’ve found the right fruit to veggie ratio to make it absolutely delicious (at least to me).

2. I’ve been moving more.

I’ll admit that Mother Nature has helped a lot with this one.  We’ve had an incredibly mild winter. Between the lack of ice, snow and sub-zero temps, it wasn’t all that hard to convince myself to lace up and go for a walk.  Now that the temps are in the 70′s (yes, I still live in Wisconsin!), LJ and I have been walking to school most days.

3. I’m continuing to take the supplements that I know support my health.

In addition to the probiotics, I also take Vitamin D, a multivitamin, and a B-complex.  While those around me have caught some nasty colds and bugs, I’ve managed to stay healthy. Despite being outside a lot lately, my allergies are much less severe than in past years as well. I can’t say that it is definitely because of my new healthier habits, but I’m not taking a chance and stopping now!

I have issues when I need to take an antibiotic so I take probiotics to help build up the “good flora” in my tummy. I also have a very sensitive tummy, so regularly eat yogurt, take probiotics or acidopholus to help regulate it!

  2. I’ve been reading great things about probiotics. I need to try them.

  3. I do need to try probiotics. And, I have the same shoes! Except mine look pretty rough. :) It’s time for a new pair, I think.

  4. I’m going to have to take your word on the juicing thing:) I struggle getting enough veggies into my diet as well. Sometimes I feel like a little kids who pouts about eating her veggies, I would just rather eat ice cream:)

  5. I really should give probiotics a try, especially being pregnant right now. I think they would definitely help.

  6. These look really cool!! I’ll have to check them out!
