You probably remember from last month that I am giving the California Wine Club a trial run. Basically, each month two bottles of wine show up on my doorstep – one white and one red. As I mentioned before, I’m not really a wine connoisseur, but I am pretty picky about what wine I drink.
I’ve been impressed with the wines I have received through the California Wine Club. They each were award winning wines and I could see why once I tried them. While each had its own characteristics and nuances, I equally liked all of them, red and white both. (That’s saying a lot for me as I usually heavily prefer red wine.) In my opinion, a membership to the California Wine Club would be a great Christmas gift. If you have a wine lover on your list, this will give them the chance to experience some wines that they would not be able to just go out and purchase at their local store. It also makes a great gift if you are travelling for the holidays. I can’t image how difficult it must be to try and pack gifts or how expensive to ship them all ahead. This would be the perfect solution! (Keep in mind that orders need to be placed by December 12th in order for delivery to happen before Christmas.)
