I love picking out colors and accessorizing once it's done, but hate the actual painting. The last time I painted anything more than a small bathroom was just after we moved in to our house in 2002. I just went from one room to another and was on a roll after the first one. I had my technique down pretty well and all of the rooms (after that first one) came out looking really good.
Now, it's taking me some time to get back into it and I've been dreading tackling this office project. I've had the paint sitting in cans in the corner for a few weeks and finally decided it was now or never.
What project or chore do you put off? Why?

ReplyDeleteI always put off decluttering and sorting through paperwork. I stink at keeping up on it.
ReplyDeleteWe've added a sunroom onto our house, but still need to tape/mud/sand/paint, etc. You know the finishing work. But have been putting it off. And that yellow in your pic, is the color I'm looking for to paint it!
ReplyDeleteWe're putting off painting here as well. We got an estimate (because we're too lazy to do it ourselves) and I almost passed out: $1600 for one room and a stairway. Looks like we'll be painting after all...

ReplyDeleteWe always put off yard work. My awesome husband did get a major portion finished yesterday that he had been putting off since we moved in THREE years ago. The rest will be done Wednesday!
