Blast Off!!! (A guest post from Little J)

On Saturday, we went to visit Kennedy Space Center. It was really cool 'cause it's all about space - which I love. Someday I am going to travel into space!!
While we were there, we met Mac who has worked at NASA for over twenty years. (That's longer than I've been alive!) Mac gave us a private tour and let us see some things you don't usually see on the tour!

I knew it was going to be a fun tour when Mac turned to me and asked, "Do you want to see some alligators?" I'm not sure what this bird is thinking, but I think I know what the alligator is thinking - dinner!
Mac showed us where some eagles hang out and have built the biggest nest I've ever seen!!

This is where the shuttle Atlantis is getting ready to blast off into space. Too bad it's taking off the day after I go back home.

Hey - I didn't know Snoopy was an astronaut!

Here's where I got to meet Mark Lee who is a real live astronaut! And he's even from Wisconsin!!!

I also met this guy - I'm pretty sure he's NOT a real astronaut, but he was pretty cool just the same.

Well, that was my day at Kennedy. We did lots of other stuff too, but my mom says I can't make this too long.
See you soon!
